How do I tell my college roommate that I want time alone with my girlfriend for sex?

The question pretty much explains it... I want some alone time with my girlfriend in the room.

I am tired of the whole "beating around the bush" method and imply that we want time. I just want to be able to say it. But how do I just say it for the first time?

I know that he is fine with sex in general, but I don't know how to bring it up for the first time.

My girlfriend and I don't even care if he wants to be in the room, if he is comfortable. So we wouldn't even be kicking him out.

Any ideas for how to bring this up???
